Third graders

Here we have the third grade thinning out some of our bountiful peach and nectarine harvest. This involves taking the extra fruit off of the tree before ripening occurs. If you are wondering why we do this ask a third grader.

Here we are harvesting fresh Marjoram to dehydrate and store for a later use.

Apple pie lesson

Here is first grades apple pie before it was baked. The students learn about local food sources by making a pie with in season fruit.
