The Willowbrook Farmer's Market was a huge success! Anneliese students did an amazing job selling organic produce and plant seedlings from their own garden during yesterday's market. From bright red chard and arugula bunches, to celery and zucchini, to bok choy and cilantro seedlings, we had plenty to offer our shoppers - and with great customer service too! Not only did students help people identify the different sale items and figure out their prices, but they also provided culinary and nutritional tips to those who needed inspiration and even bagged up purchases at the end. A big thank you to our Kiki, Ella, Taylor, Gavin, Milan, Christina, Sasha, Jack, Trey, and Louis for making a wonderful Farmer's Market Team!!!

Drying Herbs for the Farmer's Market

Next Thursday, December 18th, Anneliese will host a wonderful Farmer's Market event at the Willowbrook campus. 5th grade volunteers will help to sell all kinds of organic products from the Willowbrook garden, including Tea Jars filled with dried herbs such as lemon verbena, mint, lavender, and chamomile (pictured here). Don't miss out on this great opportunity to bring home the freshest goodies and support the School Garden Fund!
