A Beautiful Spring Market

Today, the 6th grade class hosted their second Farmer's Market of the year to raise funds for their upcoming Fiji trip! We had several new items for sale, including celery, turnips, purple and green cauliflower, chives, and a special vegan banana bread handcrafted by our amazing Willowbrook kitchen team. Many of our fan favorites made a comeback as well, such as succulent arrangements, red chard, three varieties of kale, flower bouquets, and fresh eggs from our very own chickens. Thank you to students, teachers, parents, and staff for supporting our blossoming farmer's market program!

After enjoying a delicious garden salad from freshly harvested lettuce and snap peas, our youngins spent time watering their crops to make sure they survive the heat wave. Thanks to their great care, we will have lots of radishes, Brussel sprouts, and herbs this Spring!

Nursery kids love watering their plants!
